Jio Activation Process

1. Open Tizen Store 
2. Search for My Jio app and click on it
3. Click DOWNLOAD
4. Once download is complete, click OPEN
5.Click on the app icon to open the same and sees this window Default window 
6. For first time login, the banner will change to Get JIO SIM within seconds. Customer to click on Get JIO SIM 
7. Enter State and city to check availability
8. Enter name and mobile number and click on GENERATE OTP
9. Enter OTP received in the MyJio screen and click SUBMIT 
10. Once correct OTP is submitted, Jio welcome Offer code gets generated
11. Present the code to store executive for redemption.
12.Carry phone showing Barcode,proof of identity(POI), proof of address(POA) and 1 passport size photograph with Barcode to any of the Reliance Digital and Dx Mini stores, Modern Trade outlets and prominent multi brand Jio stores.

Which number should I call to complete tele-verification for activating my Jio SIM?

For Volte Device: Please call 1977 from your Jio SIM to complete the tele-verification process. Please keep your document details with you for faster verification. For LTE: Please download Jio4GVoice and insert the Jio SIM in slot 1 once your SIM is tele-verification ready. Then select 'JIO' as preferred network and launch Jio4GVoice app. Dial 1977 to complete the tele-verification process. Please keep your document details with you for faster verification.

GET MOBILE INTERNET THROUGH USB ON YOUR PC

First Instal S*msung Kies or any PC suit for the mobile which will enable the mobile to work as modem. Then do one of following to get access to internet through USB.
For Windows dialup:

Open device manager -> expand modems -> Right-click Samsung Mobile USB Modem -> select properties -> click Advanced -> paste this in the Extra initialization commands box AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET" (Replace TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET with the access point of your network in case it is not Tata Docomo) Click-OK -> Create a dialup connection using control panel -> put phone number as *99# -> leave username & password blank & connect. In case this does not work, put your mobile no. in both username & password boxes.

For Samsung Kies:

Connect your mobile to PC and then enable USB tethering in your mobile. (go to settings -> wireless and networx -> tethering and portable hotspot and enable USB tethering) Now your mobile will work as a LAN modem. And if you are connected to internet on your mobile then you will automatically be able to use internet on your PC without making any dial-up connection etc
